My elders teach me that wisdom comes with age.
As I grow older, I become wiser and learn to love and accept myself.
I have the perspective of my whole life behind me. I walk with dignity and grace, and aging allows me a certain amount of wisdom to see the beauty in life.
Even when times are challenging, I can see events unfolding as they should. Regardless of my age, there is always hope in each new day.
I watch my children grow up and become mature adults. I rejoice in their successes. I watch them fall and pick themselves back up and share my experience with them to help them avoid repeating my mistakes.
I know perfection is unattainable and unrealistic. Instead, I strive to be a better version of myself each day, and I encourage the same in those around me.
I hold out hope for my grandchildren. They bring joy in their growth, actions, and the kindness of their souls. Their accomplishments fill my heart with pride.
I honor the elders in my life, and I am thankful for their experience, knowledge, and wisdom. I celebrate their accomplishments and revel in their memories and wise guidance. I thank them for teaching me that wisdom comes with years.
It is through their experiences that I gain a greater understanding of life.
Today, I am thankful for my years and my wisdom. I am grateful to be alive!
