I rise above the fray.

Regardless of what is going on in the outer world, I choose to rise above the fray. Just as a mountain rises from the Earth, I take all the time I need to become my Strong Solid Self.

The more I go within and draw from my inner strength, the more I realize how solid I am.

I can do anything. I am a mountain of strength.

From the top of my mountain, I have a great perspective. I can see both sides of the issue. In fact, I can see all sides of any issue. I have a higher, wiser view.

I feel the calm of being at the top of the mountain. I feel the fresh breeze through the pine trees. I take the time to breathe. The thin air clears my thoughts. I realize that all is well in my world.

By taking the time to breathe, I am able to reset my thoughts. I see from a clear perspective. All that matters is this moment in time. All that matters is my state of mind. A small smile crosses my face as all things start to fall into place.

I remind myself of how small the objects at the bottom of the mountain are from my perspective at the top of the mountain. I see that as a metaphor for my life. I just need to adjust my picture to put all things into their proper place.

My mind then goes to how quiet it is at the top of my mountain. All the voices have gone silent. I can hear myself think.

Today, I realize that I can rise above the fray any time I need a fresh perspective on life.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What simple anchor can I use to remind me to use my Mountain Metaphor to rise above the fray?
2. How can I give myself five minutes to reset my perspective?
3. What other resources can I create in my life to help bring me serenity?
